My daughter, Alissa, is multi-talented. She created these two necklaces and pairs of earrings for me. I have several other creations she made over the years including other expressions of her artistry. Both my son and daughter are writers as well. These are truly ‘my people’:)
Yesterday I got into my daughter’s box of beads and findings to create these earrings and bracelets. I am really enjoying this process of ‘beading meditation’. 😁
I created this bracelet and earrings from a large, rather heavy turquoise necklace I bought on holiday in Egypt 2007. I treasure that necklace (now comfortably lighter) and the memories.
Recycling my old turquoise jewellery into something new is fun.
