There were many amazing views on our 2010 drive through the varying landscapes. People experience this journey in different ways, all carrying their own stories, perceptions and beliefs in their minds and hearts. I’m often aware that short or long travels on Earth are Experiences much like Earth Life as being ‘The Journey of Souls’. Some Souls pass through Life on Earth but once and Never Return. Some of these People insist that we All have but One Life here, then it’s ‘Heaven’, ‘Hell’, ‘Limbo’ or ‘Nothing At All’. Some Souls pass through Life on Earth living Lives in many places and times. Some of these People insist that we All have Many Lives as Rewards or Punishments or No Free Will Choice and a Desperate Need to be Saved or Escape. Some Souls Never pass through Life on Earth at all. Their Journeys are Elsewhere. As I see it, wherever and whenever we are, we are Creative Beings and Co-creators with God, with Life Itself. So, what are we Creating?

This 2010 drive meant another exciting adventure for Alissa and I. We both feel we’ve lived many lifetimes together as family or friends or both. We also feel we’ve lived this particular timeline several times around, each having varying ‘exit points’, taken or not, along with other family members. We’ve each experienced those strange yet familiar times called ‘deja vu’ that so many people attribute to imagination. Our journey in 2010 was like a ‘deja vu’ in a way, having journeyed through the same territory together once before. Actually, I’d travelled those roads twice with others in years before. A kind of ‘deja vu times two’.

The mountain landscapes and roads inspired a spectrum of feelings in the passing days of our journey in 2010. My daughter and I shared hopeful thoughts about creating something new and beneficial in each of our lives. Neither of us chose to stay in the ‘status quo’ of our previous creations. I’d often said to others, “If you’re not happy with your life, change it.” Each of us had lived in different places, were each prepared to ‘go it alone’, then agreed to move forward again together as family and as friends. Why do so many people think in terms of being ‘either/or’?

More art I created from my daughter’s photos on our drive through the mountains in 2010, was a slow process to attain the ‘feel’ of our adventure … awe, excitement, mystery and a hint of potential danger…

Art from photos my daughter took on our drive through the mountains in 2010 has been a slow process of changing them to create the ‘feel’ of our adventure. A sense of awe, excitement, mystery and a hint of potential danger. Anyone who has driven mountain roads would surely understand what I mean.

Happy me. Last car on the ferry 2010.
