Art from photos my daughter took on our drive through the mountains in 2010 has been a slow process of changing them to create the ‘feel’ of our adventure. A sense of awe, excitement, mystery and a hint of potential danger. Anyone who has driven mountain roads would surely understand what I mean.My daughter and travel companion, Alissa Happy me. Last car on the ferry 2010.

This is the tenth in a series of photos I’ve taken from the passenger side of a moving car. These photos also show my fascination with the varying appearances of clouds over the land through which we drove.
This is one of the photos I took with my cellphone from the passenger side of a moving car. It is a view seen through the side view mirror in case you might wonder. I was reminded of an old poem I wrote years ago that seems to me to be appropriate, so have included it in my photo project now.
