An unplanned acrylic painting, I was surprised by what showed up beneath what seem to be trees. This one formed into a strange kind of woodland with other-worldly hints like sculptures. I added a new carved design using black acrylics that seemed to suit what showed up in this painting. Now my paints are put away for another time and another style experiment. I realized that I get more joy from my weaving so I’ll be into the yarn bins and bead boxes next. Painting is fun but weaving is joy for me.
