Halloween Soon Here

It’s coming back this year-

a time of wild imaginings-

costumed fun of fantasy and fear-

corpses rising from their graves-

ghosts and witches suddenly appear-

a mardi gras of superstitions

from dark ages now made clear

with spooky scenes and theatrics-

acting out things strange and weird-

vandal tricks or salted, sugared, treats-

opening doors to fun and fear

of magic in mysteries imagined-

Halloween will soon be here.
