This and Other Realities:

Seen and Unseen

We’ve seen the dances of trees

moving with ease

branches and leaves

led by many an unseen breeze

like Ghosts who seize

opportunities

to do as they please

through minds and bodies

drunk or drugged or driven mad

throughout the centuries.

We’ve seen the sudden change-

personalities suddenly changed

like Ghosts of who they were

with behaviours so changed,

influences moving unseen,

relationships changed-

enhanced or estranged

like houses with new residents

or rentals, asylums, prisons,

or places of strange mysteries,

things we can’t explain-

good or bad, happy or sad,

in joy or pain, loss or gain,

unseen influences and energies

dancing through human histories.
