One World Government and Two Visions of Choice

One World Government and Two Visions of Choice

An Industrial/Military Complex Dictatorship,

Hive Mind with Freedoms Censorship,

Global Slavery Disguised as Unity

Driven by Profits and Insatiable Greed

of Powerful Elites who see No Need

to even Pretend They Truly Care

for Any Other Lives who Share

this Polluted Planet and Its Polluted Air…

will This be Our Free Will Choice

for which We Stand and Add Our Voice?

Or…

A New, Self-Governing Global Federation,

Nations Freed from Domination,

Universal Financial Transparency and Resulting Fair Taxation,

Humans Freed from All Oppression,

Life Valued in Every Diverse Expression,

Freedoms Valued as a Right of Being,

Compassionate Care of Evolving Beings,

Agreements Determining The Common Good

Clearly Defined and Understood,

a small, United Peace Military

with Voluntary Medical Auxiliary,

Universal and Free Education,

Global Solutions for Job Creation,

a New Understanding of Wealth,

a Focus on Planetary Health,

a New World Easily Found

by Cleaning Up

Earth’s Water, Air and Ground…

will This be Our Free Will Choice

for which We Stand and Add Our Voice?

Pollution

Pollution of land, water and air…

Pollution is now everywhere…

Pollution is now our food and drink

of disease and disaster everywhere

created by those who do not care-

driven by powers of greed and fear-

that Pollution of heart and mind

leading Mankind to the brink…

Celebrated Arts

Perhaps, like me, you’ve come to see

the Artists we most Celebrate,

in every Art that we create,

succeed through geographical Location

and supporting networks-Association.

How often Celebrated Art is a case

depending on glue and glamour of place,

depending on who it is Artists know,

spreading that glamour wherever they go.

On the global ‘Web’ I’ve come to see

Artistic Treasures to buy or admire for free

by Artists outside the Great Art Game,

not following the rules for Fortune and Fame

or knowing those who invest to profit and win

more wealth through Art and Artists now ‘in’.

I Celebrate Artists who stand apart

quietly creating their wondrous Art.

Morning Encounter

This is a photo I took this morning of a rather tame deer grazing near my home in the city of Greater Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. I love that deer roam freely here. For over a decade now, I’ve gathered many fond memories of encounters with them. I’m ever respectful of their nature and benign energy.

I grew up in a small town in Northeastern Ontario. My relationship to deer, moose, partridge and ducks was different then. Deer head trophies of a buck and doe rested above the fireplace since before I was born. Family members and friends traded hunting and fishing stories as normal conversation.

The wilderness was our preferred ‘grocery store’. I learned to hunt partridge and fish at a young age, as did my siblings. We hunted for food, not sport. (I personally regarded sport hunting as barbaric.) Now I rarely eat meat at all.

I never saw my Mother use a rifle but she was skilled at archery as a hobby using paper targets. She used that skill to save my Grandmother from attack by a rabid fox once.

Our parents taught us about foraging for food and other wilderness survival skills as part of our lifestyle. I do all my shopping at the grocery stores now, but I’m grateful for life skills learned long ago. One never knows if they’ll be needed again.

Different Culture Different Times

This is a small collection of Chinese statues I have. The middle one was inherited from my Great Grandmother who lived in Shanghai for a while. I like to think that its inlaid metal details are gold. The other two sculptures were bought a few years ago in a little consignment shop for a few dollars each. Now I call them the three old, wise men. I prefer to think they represent an ancient wisdom tradition of the Chinese culture of times past. There’s much to let go of in all cultures and much of value to treasure from the past in their ongoing evolution. That’s how I see it anyways. 😍
