After I posted Shopping For Groceries 2020 (a journal entry), I was asked to share my poem written in August 2000 for comparison. The latter was inspired by a customer experience at the same store but the atmosphere and mood are completely different as you’ll see if you care to read it. In this one I also express a flight of imagination mixed with memories of a past life and a mystical insight into what is beyond our ordinary vision of common things. Believe it or not as you wish with my best wishes for all. I only wish I’d had this experience in 2020 to share. Sigh.
