The Animals We Eat

What do we feed the animals we eat?

We eat what they ate when we eat.

We eat their pain and traumas too.

We eat their cellular memories too.

We kill the pigs then the pigs kill us.

We eat the cattle then the cattle kills us.

Their meat and fat… Our meat and fat…

Their merciless misery becomes our too.

Their misery then becomes ours too-

little or no movement, drugged bodies-

little or no movement, drugged bodies-

theirs then ours, theirs then ours.

Deep down we know their pain is ours.

How do we treat the animals we eat?

Why don’t we have carnivore teeth to eat?

I Am The Future

I have no Religion. My Country is Earth.

Yet I value Religions and cherish their worth

as I value my Country, the land of my birth.

I am the Future sprung from the Past

where Humanity divided itself more and more-

destroying itself through Conflict and War.

That History was ever an Energy Harvest of Fear

to feed vampiric Shadows. To me, that’s quite clear.

Power Struggles and Ego Wars killed the many

to profit the few called ‘Great’ by masses

ignorant, deceived, enslaved by beliefs

that ‘God’s on Our Side’ so ‘Our Might is Right’.

The Creator had NO need to command anyone’s fight;

NO need for anyone to kill in order to please;

NO need for sacrifice to ‘pay’ for ‘guilt’ and ‘shame’

by those richly empowered by claiming God’s name.

I have no Religion. My Country is Earth.

None can deny me my sense of Self-worth.

There’s no separation between Life and me

though a wee, humble expression I may be.

In forms ever-changing here and beyond,

I move through countless realms to Infinity.

Life’s Process pervades All That Is eternally

the Source of everything, the Spirit I see-

unbound, unbordered Life glorious and free.
