The Butterfly
Moving with gentle ease
among flowers of thought,
a butterfly alighting on flowers,
she gathered sustenance
from their poetic beauty.
The mystery of her butterfly nature
lay concealed and revealed
in the miraculous transformations
of her physical and spiritual resurrection.
She pitied those humans
who only thought of themselves
as a mere collection of atoms.
Despite their butterfly nets
and their crucifying displays,
she truly loved them.
The soft, caressing air stirred
her iridescent wings of harmlessness,
and she lifted her free spirit up
to celebrate the blissful joy of being.
